Meet the Staff

Director of Nursing
Tishawn Mitchell, RN
Tishawn Mitchell, RN, began her career in long-term care at Alden Morrow Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in 1988 as a CNA. After a few months, she was promoted to Charge Nurse. In order to experience other areas within the nursing profession, Tishawn decided to work in both the hospital and clinic settings. Although she found the work load to be easier, she missed rehabilitation and long-term care and so returned to the field as a Charge Nurse. Tishawn longed to be able to make a greater difference in the care of her geriatric patients and returned to school to become a Registered Professional Nurse. In 2003, she obtained an associate’s degree in Nursing from Olive Harvey College in Chicago and became the Assistant Director of Nursing at an area rehabilitation and long-term care facility. In August 2005, Tishawn returned to the Alden family as Assistant Director of Nursing and was quickly promoted to her current position as Director of Nursing. She describes herself as a God-fearing woman whose desire is to do everything she can by the grace of God to ensure that patients and residents at Alden Princeton receive the care they deserve.
